"THREE Ds" by frank williams
I enjoy sculpting different shaped gourds into pieces for others to share. While most of my pieces are stand alone, occasionally I find those that must be joined together. Enjoy Three D's gentle shapes that nature has provided, and the flow of design and color I have added.

"IN CONTROL" by cell
Playing with line, playing with shape, playing with color, playing...
Graphite, one fantastic medium and the endless possibilities that can be accomplished.
'CAIRN" by frank williams
My wife Karen and I love hiking the Southwest and on one of our first hikes in the Sedona AZ. area, we discovered unusual rock arrangements called cairns. She suggested that the similar shapes of gourds would also make great expressions of cairns. So, while I've taken some "artistic license" with my cairns, they are true in spirit, and represents natures way of giving us these whimsical eye pleasing pleasures.
"BRYCE CANYON" by stewart rein
Bryce Canyon, Utah, is a world of hoodoos, in a multitude of colors. This is a view from the rim, but for the willing, a hike into the canyons to mingle with the stone is breathtaking and at 8,000 feet above sea level, you can take that literally.
"US 14 SOUTH DAKOTA " by stewart rein
I have always found the Great Plains starkly beautiful and the man-made objects placed upon then both utilitarian and beautiful as well. These Great Plains skyscrapers can be found in most towns and are situated along the railroad lines.
"ISSAQUEENA" by frank williams
Issaqueena's shape and somewhat feminine expression lends to the design that incorporates the multiple types of stone inlay. Her headdress is an array of feathers from several type of birds ranging from the pheasant red spikes to the very colorful macaw. I thought she should "stand alone" on her faux stone pedestal, but she can also be purchased to be displayed on a wall.
